Santa came to the Alexanders!!

Rob and Amy had posted on Facebook that Saturday night SANTA
would be coming to their house!! They were going to have hot chocolate and
candy canes for everyone! My kids (besides Peyton) were SO
excited to see Santa!
(We haven't gone to see him this year, yet!)
I tried to snap a few pictures before hand... but only the
girls were wanting their picture taken. ;)
 Blake was upset about something!?
While we were out front looking at all of Rob's lights we
heard bells ringing!
Santa was walking to their house! :)
I knew this picture was going to turn bad so we snapped one
really fast one with Ryan hiding behind Santa! ;)
I'm SO excited for Christmas morning! These three kids are
so excited and I know that it won't be long and the magic will no longer
be there!! :( So we are enjoying EVERY minute of these ages!

Decorating the Christmas tree... Twice! ;)

One Sunday night after Thanksgiving we got our tree all set up to decorate
and realized that half the lights aren't working. :(
Note to self: Buy a new tree next year!!
Since it was Sunday night none of the things are really dressed...
once we get home from church everyone gets comfy clothes on!
(or swimsuits?)
Peyton was a big "help" this year!
I don't know if its because I'm pregnant or what but after two days
of looking at all my old ornamest. I went to
Hobby Lobby for new ornaments to have a candy cane tree! :)
The kids were so excited to get to re-decorate the tree!!
Peyton loved trying all the new candy cane ornaments ;)
Our new Candy Cane tree!! :)
I LOVE it!

We are having a...

I decided that I wanted to do something FUN to tell the kids what we
were having... so after a little searching on Pintrest I decided on
frosting stuffed cupcakes! :)
I knew that Blake was going to be sad if it was a girl and
Kenzie was hoping for another sister so she was going to be sad with a boy.
So, I made cupcakes to that everyone would be happy! ;)
Here is the before picture...
Chocolate cupcake with pink and blue sprinkles!
Blake was the first to see the frosting, after taking a HUGE bite
into his cupcake!!
Here he is yelling, "ANOTHER SISTER?!"
Yep, it was full of PINK frosting!!
McKenzie was still in shock when she saw the frosting... ;)
 Peyton just enjoyed the cupcake!!
Then it settled in with Kenzie and she could NOT stop
giggling!! She was and IS SO excited!!
 YUM!
Here is how Blake answedd my question,
"Blake how do you feel about another sister??"
The good thing is, these three little girls are SO lucky to have such a good
big brother! Blake is always looking out for them and making sure they are happy.
Just the other day, Blake stuck up for Kenzie when a little boy was saying mean things to
her on the bus! She hasn't had any problems with that kid since!
What lucky girls they are to have Blake! :)
We are SO excited to add another sister to the family!!

Gilbert Days

One of my FAVORITE times of the year...
GILBERT DAYS!!
Unfortunately, Ryan had to miss out this year because of
youth conference.
This was the first year that Peyton really enjoyed the parade! :)
Here is most of our group!
 Always a fan "favorite" ;)
Joe Arpaio!!
Had to show support for Good ol' Gilbert Tiger!!
This rarely happens... normally she is terrified of Jacob!
Blake SCORED big time on lots of handouts!
Always has, always will be my FAVORITE part of the
parade...
SunCity Poms!!
I can't wait to join their group in the next 30 years! :)
Blake and Brennen in their new shirts!
Thanks Horne Kia! :)
YEP! I even got my picture taken with them... HOLDING a POM!!!
Ya, its kind of a big deal! :)
I'm already so excited for next year!!
Hopefully Ryan will be able to make it. ;)
