Easter Weekend!

Saturday before Easter Rob and Amy had us over for
lunch and an Easter egg hunt! We started out for a baby hunt in
the front yard for all the 2 year olds. Peyton loved filling her bag
up with as many eggs as she could! We then had to teach her to give some to
Austin and Brycen! ;) I give Blake and Kenzie credit for that one...
days earlier they would go outside and have "practice hunts" with
each other! :)

She was SO excited to get her prize from
Grandma Jeanne. A new baby!!
Then it was time for the big kid hunt! I'm so impressed with
how many (buried)  eggs they were able to find!! I am the
WORST when it comes to finding eggs the
Alexander way! ;)

Before the prizes it was time to eat! Everything looked
so cute displayed!
 PRIZES!!
Blake checking to see how much money was in his
money egg!! :)
Kenzie posing with cute bunny glasses...
 Peyton trying to. ;)
Everyone had SO much fun and left with way too many
prizes!!

Easter morning!
I was able to get a picture of the kids before church when
they still were clean...
so here they are after 3 hours of church! ;)
HAPPY EASTER!

Willy Wonka Factory!

Alexis and Landon had a Willy Wonka birthday party this year!!
They delivered chocolate bars with golden tickets inside for their
invitations to Mr. Wonkas Factory!
When we arrived we all lined up on the red carpet leading
up to the factory... then Mr. Wonkas music began to
play and out he came!!
The kids (minus Peyton) were SO excited!
Peyton was TERRIFIED of Uncle Sean! :)
The first "stop" of the tour was the bubble room!
Everyone was given cold drinks of soda and there was a
bubble machine going.
Next up, was popping Violet with darts! :)
Then all the kids were given an
everlasting gobstopper!
and were able to pick out some of Mr. Wonkas
more "expensive" candy! ;)
 Next was Mr. Wonkas chickens!
They were laying gold eggs...
the kids were able to find good eggs
filled with money!!
Bad eggs were filled with rocks, and thrown out!
Then it was the part of the tour that everyone was
waiting for...
 Real life CANDYLAND!!
The kids (and Ryan) filled their bags with all
sorts of candy! WAY TOO MUCH candy!
Peyton had more fun just eating the candy right
then and there!
We then left the factory and headed over to Alexis and Landons
house for pizza and bounce houses!
It was such a fun party!

Spring Break!

This year for Spring Break we had a stay-cation...
We started off the week meeting cousins and Peter Piper Pizza.
Mesquite Aquatic Center heated their pool so we took
advantage of that when it got 80+ degrees.
Peyton was NOT a fan of the water... she was happy
just sitting on her towel eating snacks.

Blake taking a rest and eating his lunch...
I could not keep Kenzie out of the water!
She LOVED every minute of it! :)
Ryan took the older two kids to see OZ one afternoon and
then we finished our Spring Break with haircuts at Karens. :)
I'm sad I didnt get a before or during picture of
Peytons first (much needed) haircut but here is an
after picture! :)
 Sunday morning (ST.Patricks Day)
the kids woke up to some treats that the Leprechaun had
left! :)

Blakes basketball season

Blake just finished his second season of basketball and really
enjoyed it! His team name was The Shooters and his coach was
Coach Amy. The shooters had a great season!

Top row: Joe, Gannon, Trevor, Blake, Danny, Coach Amy
Bottom Row: Justin, Easton, Bret, Ryker, and Dane

Here is Blake at one of the last games getting ready for
a jump ball!

End of the season medals...
 Shooters!
 1...2...3... SHOOTERS!!
Blake and his two friends from school,
Bret and Trevor! :)

SUPER BOWL!

Ryan and Blake were SO excited when the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl,
so we decided to have a super bowl party!
The night before we started decorating and making goodies for
our party!

Jeremy and Ryan are big niner fans and even made a rode trip to
San Francisco a few years ago to watch them play!
I had to get a picture of these two in their 49er apparel! ;)
Blake and Kenyon were on the same 49er football team so they
both wore their matching jerseys.
 Maya sporting her niner "tattoo"
Even though the game had a lot of ups and downs
(mostly downs) we had so much fun cheering on the niners! :)
Maybe next year?? ;)
