DISNEYLAND Vacation!! ... day 1

Eleven years ago Ryan purposed to me at Disneyland, so for

our 11th anniversary we decided to take a family trip to Disneyland!

 CRAZY that 11 years ago tickets were only $45.00?! 

They are now more than DOUBLE that price!!!

Our road trip started with lots of treats and new movies!!

The kids did GREAT!

 Once we arrived in California we unpacked our car and

headed to Downtown Disney!! 

The kids had fun trying on different hats in the Disney Store...

We then walked over to the Lego Store.

 The girls LOVE Minnie, and since it wasn't very busy she

kept coming back to our table for more pictures! :)

 Peyton was a little shy at first and wanted Ryan to hold her.

the dessert buffet for more dessert?! ;)

The kids also LOVED Goofy's famous peanut butter and jelly pizza!

 We also got to sit and talk to Belle

 Poor Kendyl slept through most of dinner and

missed most of the characters. :(

 Minnie came back around to us...

 and Peyton warmed up to her! :)

 I guess Ryan loves Minnie just as much as the girls! ;)

Kendyl woke up just in time to meet Mulan!

 Pluto came back around... Peyton was now a pro at

meeting all the characters!!

 They brought Ryan and I a cupcake and Disney pin for

celebrating our anniversary! 

 Once we started to pack up to leave Minnie came by one more 

time to get a picture with Kendyl and say bye to the kids...

and probably Ryan!! ;)

 We then took the kids over the ESPN Zone to play some

games...

 Then it was time to head back to the hotel to get some

sleep before our first day at DISNEYLAND! :)

Summer Update

Some random (and not so random) pictures

of what we've been up to this summer...

I LOVE finding these two little sisters sleeping in the same

twin bed. They prefer that over sleeping in their own beds?! ;)

 Kendyl and I were able to drive over with my mom to visit

Grandma Pearl. She hadn't met Kendyl yet and is now 97 years old 

so I wanted to make sure to get a picture of them together!

 Peyton's latest favorite thing to do is empty out my pantry and

"grocery shop" with her babies!

 The kids enjoy going to Summer Fun Day at Peter Piper Pizza!

This day was "Western Day" and we were able to meet the 

Galovich's and Danielsons there for extra fun!!

 A few days before leaving for Disneyland I was in

my room folding laundry when Peyton came RUNNING

in yelling MICKEY!!

A few seconds later Blake using a "Mickey voice" and dressed in a

3 sizes too small Mickey hand me down costume, 

was chasing after Peyton!

At first she was terrified but then LOVED it!

 Even gave "Mickey" a hug. :)

 She then wanted to be Minnie!

The kids are all VERY excited to Disneyland!!

(I think its safe to say we all are!!)

Blog Update!

With kids out of school for the summer and a new baby things 

have been a little too crazy to blog! 

Here is a quick update of the past few weeks...

Kendyl had her first day at church on Mother's Day...

We only lasted an hour! ;)

With Ryan in the bishopric and Kendyl being colicky,

and Peyton being 2 it was a little stressful! 

So Kendyl and I went home to take a nap while the

older three went to classes! :)

Happy Mother's Day to ME! ;)

 After church we went to Carley's house for a 

Mother's Day dinner.

Kendyl got to meet some of her other cousins!

These six little girls have SO much fun with each other...

I'm sure Claire and Kendyl will become BFF's soon! ;)

 Started our summer off with swimming at Carleys.

 The last week of May Blake got braces put on...

he had been counting day the days for weeks!!

(I'm glad he thinks they are cool! ;)

 Blake and Kenzie took 4 weeks of diving lessons 

at Skyline Pool.

They both learned to front dive off the low dive & high dive!

They also learned to back dive and front tuck! 

They had so much fun learning these new tricks!

Brittany and Ryan had a baby boy the last week of May

also! It was so fun meeting Chase.

These two were able to be blessed on the same weekend!

She was giving a sweet blessing by Ryan. We were

lucky to have our whole families there... minus Jacob and Lexi. :(

Sadly I didnt take very many pictures.. this was the best

family picture we got.

A few weeks later we were able to visit with Nana

(my dad's mom)

and have Kendyl meet her for the first time.

Kinder Graduate?!

How is it that my little Kenzie is going into 1st grade?!

Although, she couldn't be more excited about it...

or maybe its because she REALLY wants to be on the

"big kid" playground! ;)

She had her Kindergarten Musical yesterday and

did so good! She stood up there and just smiled and giggled 

anytime Peyton would wave to her! 

She is one proud big sister. 

 Peyton was SO excited to be able to follow Kenzie around in

her classroom and meet all her friends. She even found an empty seat

at Kenzie's table and made herself at home.

All Kenzie's friends kept saying, "She is a mini Kenzie!!" ;)

 Mrs. Bruce handed out awards.. Kenzie ran up so fast I 

wasn't able to get a decent picture.

 She received the Rockin' Reader award!

 Kenzie and her "BFF" Bailey! These girls have become 

the best of little friends. 

I can't believe how much Kenzie has grown in just 

9 months!!

Here she is the night of Meet the Teacher 

August 2012...

 9 months later...

She is now taller, has longer hair, has 3 permeant teeth

 and one still missing, is more independent, 

a Social Butterfly and GREAT reader...

I guess she really is ready for 1st grade!!

Although she is going to miss Miss Bruce

like CRAZY!! :(

It's been an AWESOME year of Kindergarten!!

Bring on the 1st grade!
