Kendyl Jane Alexander
was born!
I was induced late Wednesday night and after a LONG afternoon
of waiting... and waiting...
Kendyl FINALLY decided it was time!
When Dr. McNeal asked Ryan if he would like to cut the umbilical cord
he responded with I was hoping to help deliver the baby!
Before I could even say anything they had Ryan dressed and ready to
deliver!?
WARNING: I tried to edit the pictures as much as I could!
I swore I would NEVER be one to post delivery pictures...
but since Ryan was in on the action I wanted in documented.
Sorry. ;)
Ryan and I had such a hard time deciding on a third girls name.
I've always liked the name Kendyl and for a middle name,
Blake and Kenzie both have our middle names and
Peyton is named after Ryan's grandma Liz.
So with Kendyl we talked about different middle names and agreed
on the name Jane. Almost 6 years ago Jared and Karen had a
still born baby named Alice Jane, so we decided to name
Kendyl after her sweet cousin Alice.
Our first visitors were the older kids!
Peyton came RUNNING into the room ready to meet her new baby sister!
Blake is an AMAZING big brother and is SO good to his little sisters!
He is such a good sport about being the only boy. ;)
McKenzie couldn't have been more excited to have another
little sister! She is always so sweet with Peyton, even when it comes to Peyton
getting into all her stuff!
She was so excited to mee Kendyl she didn't want to leave the hospital!
When it was time for them to go she cried all the way home... and even cried
herself to sleep. She really wanted to have a slumber party at the hospital! ;)
Ryan and Brittany came by that night also to come and visit and
meet Kendyl! We are really hoping they have a girl in a few weeks so our babies
can be BFF's! ;)
Granna had a piano recital and Papa was out of town...
so later that night granna came by to meet Kendyl and to bring her
a new blanket!
The next day while the older two kids were in school Ryan
and Peyton came down to visit!
Sarah, Justin, Carley, Mason, and Camille also came by for quite a party!! ;)
My poor babies always hang out in their hospital outfits til Sarah
comes to "doll" them up! ;)
Later Dr. McNeal came by to check up on me...
After having her deliver all four of my babies I'm so sad she
will be moving to Louisiana. :(
I'm just glad she was able to deliver all my babies!
The next morning our favorite visitors came back to visit and to
bring us home! While Ryan was checking out and paying the bill I had
all four kids in the room with me!
FOUR kids?! ;)
Like I said... Blake is always such a good, protective big brother!
Not sure what I would do without he and Kenzie, they are both
HUGE helpers!
All ready to go home!! :)
When we got home we were greeted by Granna and Papa...
Gwen
and Karen!
We have all enjoyed having Kendyl here,
its so fun to have a new little spirit in our home.
Everyone is adjusting great! I was a little worried about Peyton, but
she has turned into such a good big sister and is always
looking for ways to help!
